Phenomenality = Little Shop

I'm going to have to say that the greatest thing to ever happen to me was my miraculous casting in my high school's production of Little Shop of Horrors. Everything about this musical was nothing less than a dream come true. If not more than that. Starting off my acting career with this grand performance was nothing less than perfect. This is the greatest musical in existence and we put on one heck of a show. :D
I got cast to do many little parts throughout, as my pictures show. In order my roles were: Prostitute (I know you all must be so proud), Chang (Chinese woman), Interviewer (No picture of that character. :( ), Bernstien (Where I did my solo), and a Bucket Brigador (I sing the Finale in that role).
And trust me, if you haven't seen the movie yet, GO SEE IT RIGHT NOW. It's so hilarious. The stage production ends differently, but it's just as entertaining.
Everything about this show was phenomenal. We had the best actors/singers at Deer Valley, the beastliest set we could have managed, the most PHENOMENAL plants ever to exist, a live band, and great techies, too. The band, by the way, was stunning. I couldn't get over their talent.
My friends and family, I must say, were too sweet to me. Especially my number one fan -- Haley. She went every single night and even made a shirt for me!
And if you haven't picked up the implication, I fell in love. With everything. Everything that had to do with the play. Everything that had to do with the people. And everything that had to do with theatre. This most certainly will not be my last time on stage. :D
The fancy head-shots we got. :D

A nice view of the whole cast in our opening number, Skid Row.

Yes, me as a prostitute. Never shall those boots touch my feet again!

Chang! Definitely a fun role. :D

Close up of Chang. :)

Bernstien. Me attempting to be a man.

Bucket brigador in our fancy trench-coats.

The greatest cast ever. :) (Techies and band included! = small cast)

Thanks for sharing some pictures of the musical. I wish I could have you in action! I am sure your were great. And if your Mom didn't tell you the story you wrote for the Scholastic Contest was great. I really enjoyed it.

I love the pictures, especially the prostitute! I hope I can see a recording of it next month.
